Westfield Good Festival 2025 – Sustainability You Can Experience!

From June 5 to 7, 2025, Westfield Shopping City Süd and Westfield Donau Zentrum transformed into vibrant worlds of experience for sustainable ideas, creative upcycling, and conscious living. Under the motto „Good Festival – Treasures of Yesterday, Trends of Tomorrow,“ the centres invited visitors to a diverse program of fashion, do-it-yourself activities, celebrity guests, workshops, and prize draws – packed with inspiration for a more sustainable everyday life.

A highlight at Westfield Shopping City Süd: the large Pre-Loved Fashion Market in cooperation with Volkshilfe, where fashion was given a second life. Visitors could refresh and personalize their own clothing at the repair and personalization station under the motto „Turn Old into New.“ Creative minds from the Modeschule Herbststraße competed against each other in the grand Upcycling Contest – ceremonially crowned by the presentation of the Westfield Good Award by sustainability icon and model Heather Mills, supported by a prominent jury including Marika Lichter, Tamara Mascara, Natalie Alison, and actor Mike Dickman.

A range of exciting workshops also awaited visitors around the topics of fashion and sustainability: from homemade bath bombs with LUSH, to flower pounding, weaving, creating bag charms and bead jewellery, all the way to modern brush calligraphy – something for every taste!

Westfield Donau Zentrum also impressed with its own line-up: the popular Pre-Loved Fashion Market by Volkshilfe invited visitors to browse, while a trendy photo wall created lasting memories. Younger guests got to meet Ilia & Arwen from „Ilia’s World,“ before sustainable recipe ideas were served up at a joint cooking show with Robert Steiner. The Good Moments campaign rewarded the most creative social media posts with great prizes – including an exclusive shopping budget.

Further highlights at the Westfield Donau Zentrum location: an entertaining meet & greet with influencer and Dancing Star Anna Strigl, workshops for the whole family – such as iron-on patch design – as well as an inspiring restyling & personality training session with fashion expert Wolfgang Reichl. Dance and entertainment were provided by the performers of the Vienna Dance Center – including atmospheric fashion shows.

A joint prize draw across both centres added to the excitement: the prize was a sustainable family holiday with Ferienwelt Kesselgrub – the perfect start to summer!

The conclusion: Three days full of creativity, sustainability, and experiential value for the entire family – to participate, to marvel, and to reflect.

A heartfelt thank you to all contributors – from the teams of both Westfield centres to the dedicated marketing managers Daniela Hardzina and Mirela Petrovic, our prominent sustainability ambassador Heather Mills, the high-calibre jury, all our strong partners, and many more. Thanks to the perfect collaboration, the Westfield Good Festival 2025 became an inspiring, sustainable event highlight that thrilled thousands of visitors!
